Much of Randy’s career has been spent as a writer. In 2003 he was commissioned by the Los Angeles Music Center to write the history of record to document the construction of Walt Disney Concert Hall. The book, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Historic Story of a Triumphant Partnership was distributed at the concert hall’s grand opening. Randy also wrote a children’s book, A Journey Through the Music Center, first published in 2004 and is in its 19th print. Randy headed the writing teams wrote the lessons plans to accompany his three full length educational documentaries His first novel, Outlaws in Paradise, a dark, satirical take down of corporate America, has recently been completed and will be available in 2024. He is currently working on a second book about aging, Hell Can’t Wait Forever.
