Making songs from the heart…

Randy’s eclectic and distinctive perspective has been the hallmark of his work. His first album debuted in 1974 and garnered a Fine Arts Oscar from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and Friends and has recently been reissued to commemorate its 50th Anniversary by the European label Wah Wah Records based in Barcelona, Spain. His documentaries have received multiple awards including Best Director at the 2009 Chashama International Film Festival in New York and three Grand Festival Awards from the Berkely Video and Film Festival in 2008, 2010 and 2012. In 2003, Randy was commissioned by the Los Angeles Music Center to write the history of record for the making of Walt Disney Concert Hall designed by Frank Gehry. Randy has a new CD, I Used to Worry, released on Crutchtown Records in the fall of 2023 and his first novel, Outlaws in Paradise, will be coming out in 2024.
